HomeHarborside Yacht Center was founded in 1995 by Craig and Mark Duchow, the owners of Duchow's Boat Center. Harborside was created to provide service, storage and sales to Lake Michigan boaters complimenting their Boat Centers that catered to inland lake trailerable boats.
Harborside opened it's first marina in Milwaukee and steadily built a solid reputation for delivering great service at fair prices. The high quality of service was developed by investing in extensive training of technicans, building a crew of experienced and expert technicians and craftsman. As word spread, Harborside not only attracted many Lake Michigan Boaters for storage and service, but many premier new boat and yacht manufacturers came calling as well. Today Harborside is the authorized dealer for the most popular luxury yachts in the business including Marquis, Carver, Larson, and Silverton yachts.
In 2003, Harborside opened it's second location in Green Bay at the brand new South Bay Marina. With our primary goal to deliver great service, the technicans were the first to be hired building the rest of the team around them. This new location enabled Harborside to effectively service Door County, Green Bay and Northern Lake Michigan. As a result of the recession and the downturn in the marine industry, Harborside closed this operation in June of 2010.
2004 brought even more expansion with a new operation in Kenosha at Southport Marina. This location reinforced Harborside's ability to service Northern Illinois boaters and created a showcase to display even larger yachts in a brand new, state-of-the-art marina.
Today, Harborside can deliver everything a Lake Michigan boater needs including service, parts, storage, slips, and sales, all from two convenient locations.
